Report Human Trafficking
Often, human trafficking victims are found and rescued because individuals notice something unusual, and call the National Human Trafficking Hotline to report it.
If you suspect a person is being held against their will, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-3737-888, or email at nhtrc@polarisproject.org. The hotline is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week and is confidential. Interpreters are also available.
For more information on possible signs of human trafficking, read the 10 Invisible Chains Which Keep Victims In Slavery.
You might be the one to save a life!
This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.

I imagine how I would feel if I found out that someone I had had regular contact with or lived in close proximity to had been holding people in slavery, and I had missed the opportunity to say something when I saw things that set off alarm bells for me. The only real way for these people to be caught is through public awareness and engagement; there simply aren't enough police to go around to be able to investigate missing persons to the extent necessary. When cases go cold, the victims' only chance is for citizens to pay attention and report things that are not right in their communities.

After watching several documentaries about child trafficking and prostitution in the United States I was shocked that such things were going on right here in our own backyard. The cruelty and the harsh reality that child prostitutes face made me realize that something more needs to be done and done soon.

I've lived in kuwait (2007-2008) and have seen first-hand the human tracking involved there - VERY CRUEL!! The Kuwaitis have ZERO respect for other nationals - in fact, they consider all, especially those from the Pacific Rim area, to be sub-human...they are taught from birth that the appropriate response to breaking any law is to say "I Kuwaiti!" Foreign employees I worked with were routinely (myself included!) lied to, forced into unwanted situations, passports withheld w/o permission, etc. I would advise anyone - obviously non-Kuwaiti - NOT to go/work there...
