Buy Better Chocolate with the Chocolate Company Guide
The International Labor Rights Forum has a great guide to which chocolate companies are working to prevent child trafficking in cocoa fields, and which are not.
The good and not so surprising news is that higher quality chocolate like Godiva, Divine, Lindt, etc. is less likely to involve child trafficking in the supply chain.
So indulge compassionately!
This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible starting after Feb 12, 2009.

This is too easy for me because I don't eat that much chocolate and I have not liked the cheap stuff for years!

After reading about the connection between chocolate and child trafficking in cocoa fields, the term 'guilt-free chocolate' takes on a whole new meaning. What better treat to give ourselves and our friends that the guilt-free brand...eaten in moderation, of course.
